End-of-day reporting
Turn the Shopify POS day into one clear closeout
TillClose gives store managers a repeatable end-of-day report: select a location and date, review the day's totals, and download a clean PDF. There is no report builder to configure.
A simple end-of-day reporting workflow
- Choose the Shopify POS location and business date.
- Review sales, discounts, taxes, refunds, and the tender breakdown.
- Check expected versus counted cash when the location uses POS Pro cash tracking.
- Download the PDF for your records or send it to the bookkeeper yourself.
One document for the questions that come up at closing
Instead of moving between native sales reports and cash tracking views, the closeout puts the relevant totals together. Cash, card, and gift card collections are shown separately, while refunds are counted on the date they were processed.
TillClose reports one location at a time and uses the shop's timezone to define the register day. Online orders and orders from other locations are not included in that location's closeout.
Downloaded by you, never sent automatically
TillClose generates the report when you request it. You decide whether to print, archive, or email the PDF. The app does not automatically send reports or retain report amounts on its servers.
Common questions
Can TillClose email the end-of-day report automatically?
No. You download the PDF and send or print it yourself. TillClose does not currently schedule or automatically email reports.
How far back can I reopen a closeout?
TillClose provides a 60-day closeout history for reopening or downloading past reports.
Does the report include online orders?
No. A location closeout includes Shopify POS orders placed at the selected retail location during that business day.
