Retail closeout
A consistent Shopify POS closeout for every location
TillClose turns the numbers needed at closing into one location-level report. Managers can check tender totals and drawer reconciliation, then download the same PDF format each day.
What to check during a POS closeout
- Confirm the selected location and business date.
- Review total sales, discounts, taxes, refunds, and net sales.
- Compare cash, card, gift card, and other tender collections.
- For POS Pro locations, compare expected cash with the counted amount and note any over or short.
- Download the PDF and follow your store's own deposit and recordkeeping process.
The same closeout shape, without changing store data
TillClose is a read-only reporting app. It does not close Shopify sessions, adjust the drawer, change orders, or move money. It presents the available Shopify POS data in one closeout so the manager can complete the store's existing closing procedure.
If a day has more activity than Shopify returns within the supported report limit, the closeout clearly says that it is truncated rather than presenting incomplete totals as final.
Useful for single and multi-location retailers
Each report covers one selected location and day. That makes it possible to keep location records separate and re-download a closeout from the 60-day history when a question comes up later.
Common questions
Does TillClose close the register inside Shopify POS?
No. TillClose is read-only and does not close cash tracking sessions. It creates the report used alongside your store's normal closing process.
What happens if a location does not use POS Pro?
Sales, taxes, refunds, and tender totals still appear. Drawer float, expected cash, counted cash, and over or short require Shopify POS Pro cash tracking.
Can staff change the report totals?
No. TillClose computes the closeout from Shopify data and does not provide a way to edit the underlying totals.
